How To Verify Skrill Account

A month ago, I have decided to drop my desk job and go freelance-FULL TIME. I was a bit blessed to get a permanent job that instant. However, as soon as I got my first pay, I also then realized how exchange rates and money turn overs can hit freelancers like me. So I decided to find new money transfer methods, other than Paypal.

My search then lead me to Skrill. Previously known as Moneybookers, Skrill is a UK based payment processor that offers faster and cheaper means of sending and receiving money. It is now the leading ewallet and payment processor with over 25 million account holders world wide. They also have a more sophisticated fraud and risk management.

If you're wondering how to verify your Skrill account, here are your options.

1. Verify Your Address.

To do so, click "My account" > "Account Status" > "Address", then hit "Verify".

Unfortunately, there is no other means to verify your address but through a code sent via snail mail. Yes. You read it right. It is via snail mail. Please see below for the verification letter I have received from Skrill. I waited for almost a week for the mail to arrive.

2. Verify Your Bank Account, or Your Credit Card

I tried to do so, and it did not work. After trying to verify my bank account, I got this message.

Don't try to verify your  bank account/card if you're a non-dollar account holder
The process here is that Skrill will take $1.01 to $2.99 from your account. You would then have to check your account for exactly how much they took out from your account (In Dollars). In other words, if your account won't let you see your transaction in dollars, this verification process does not apply to you. Lucky for me, I was able to get a refund for the 90 pesos they took from my account (I asked for a refund, LOL).

How To Make Money on Fiverr.com

fiverr.com
Ever wanted to get paid for doing something that you have always wanted to do? Want to have a job that doesn't look much as a job? Well, I introduce to you, fiver.com.

Fiverr.com indeed is one fun and new way of earning money online. It is a  freelancing site open to anyone all over the world, where members can post gigs. And when we say gig, it could be any type of service that you can offer to the public. Then, through fiverr.com, your gig will be posted to other users. Interested parties then can start purchasing or hiring your service.

Gigs are posted in this format: "I will ____________________ fro $5." Examples of gigs are: "I will make a music video of your favorite song for $5",  "I will write a poem for $5, and "I will create a video of your topic for $5".

Gigs

There are various gigs that you can post in this site. Few of which are: Gift Ideas, Graphic Design, Video Editing Service, Social Marketing, Travel and Leisure, Writing Services, Advertising, Music and Audio, Fun and Bizarre, Tips and Advice, Business Ideas, Technology, Programming and so much more. Also, other members can request a gig for you to do.

As the site implies, all gigs are for five dollars. And for every Gig you sell, fivver.com gets one dollar. A fair enough share for the unlimited potential earnings without spending or investing money. Then for after every successful sale, the buyer can leave either a positive or a negative feedback. Through this system, you can build your profile and establish your reputation as an online service provider. Payouts and Payments are done through Paypal.

There is no limit as to how much you can earn through this site. With perseverance, creativeness and hard work, money is right there waiting for you. For giving tips alone, I was able to generate $30 in 2 hours. Not a bad way to earn for someone who just wants to spend her idle time on the internet. Yes it may not be that much, but it is a very nice way to start your career as a freelancer. No experience required, no special skills needed, plus, you get paid for doing something you love to do. Not to mention that  you have the liberty to work at you own hours.
So what are you waiting for? Sign up for a fiverr.com account now and start earning!
